Hot Days of Summer

We know it's been awhile, but we've been catching up after vacation. I've been having such a great summer though. I'm sure everyone knows it's been really hot out. Sometimes it's even too hot for clothes! (what happened to my clothes????)And speaking of hot, my mommy and daddy picked almost the hottest day of the summer to take me to my first Phillies game! Our seats were in right field and we were baking in the sun.
So you won't see many pictures of the baseball game, but we had lots of fun. We played in the Philly Phun Zone for a long time. I left my sneakers and socks high up in the rocket ship and had to go back and get them.We sat in the shade and ate hot dogs
And I played this cool game where you run in place to make the man on the board run around the bases. I was easily the smallest little kid playing, but my guy did pretty good (mommy was behind me and I think she was helping a little bit).

We sat in our seats about 15 minutes the whole game, but in the time I saw the Phillies hit a grand slam and a second home run, and both balls landed about 10 rows away from me. It was a fun but hot day.

I am now a 5th generation pickle maker! My Mommy and Daddy learned to make pickles from Nanny who learned from her mother who learned from her mother (I think). We only made 2 jars, but they were great!

My birthday was next, and we had lots of birthday fun. Check out my blog in a few days for some fun 3 year old birthday pictures! Can you believe I'm 3 years old?!?!?
