A quick update
Summer is winding down, and we've been busy. Last week we had company for dinner, including Kathy's friend Alyssa and the 4 Levinson girls. Someday Noah will think this is pretty cool!
Then last week Nanny and Poppy came to visit. They played and read books and ate lots of treats (Dairy Queen, though we don't have pictures of that!).
Noah was teaching them how to use an IPhone. They didn't rush out to get one though.
We've been so busy that it's easy to get tired out quickly. Check out this little 3 year old's big boy bed. Does he look comfy or what?
More pictures coming soon to wind up summer. Then believe it or not, Noah is getting ready to go to school next week! We're all looking forward to that!

Noah's 3rd Birthday Party
I had my 3rd birthday party for all my friends in the neighborhood last week! Look who was at my birthday party--Thomas! This was before all the kids got here and me and mommy were jumping all around.
But once "the neighborhood" got here, look out! It was wild in that thing!
Marybeth was just one of the kids too, but she was like the jumpy-monster! LOOK OUT!

We had this cool thing where all the kids could make and decorate their own little trains!
We made trains, and played in the Thomas Moon Bounce and ran around outside and inside. And soon it was time for cake and ice cream.
For those of you who don't know everyone in the picutre above, there is Matthew (my friend that I met at Gymboree--we both love trains!), me, the birthday boy of course, Brendan (Erin's nephew) being held by Vicki (Erin's cousin), Joseph and Gianna on one chair (with their mom Miss Jamie), then Kira who also lives in the neighborhood behind me).
Let's blow!

What a great birthday! Thanks everyone!
Love, Noah

Happy 3rd Birthday Noah!
It's hard to believe that Noah is 3 years old! This blog was started 3 years ago when Noah was keeping us awake all night long. These days it seems like he wakes up just as often. He calls out "mommy, daddy! Come check on me!"

Coming up next we had a birthday party at home with some of Noah's friends from the neighborhood! Keep checking the blog. More updates soon.
This year was one of the longest birthdays. It started Friday morning with presents waiting to open!
When we asked Noah what he wanted for his birthday he said he wanted to ride on the bullet train. As it turns out we decided to go to Connecticut for the weekend. Nanny had to be in the hospital for a couple days (she's fine now). So David and Noah took the super fast train from Philadelphia to Newark and Kathy met us there with the car (she was working in the Scranton area that day). It was a fun ride and Noah got his birthday wish.
We had lots of fun on the train. We looked out the window and saw lots of other trains going by. We played games, and even went to the snack car and got cookies and and a drink

It was a long drive, but when we got to Connecticut we had a small little birthday party Friday Aug 14th with Poppy, mommy and daddy. Guess who was on the cake? THOMAS! (And this was just the first cake!)
Noah brought Nanny a little bear and some "magic cream" (neosporin)--it always helps his boo boos), and it worked! She got to come home from the hospital!
So we had another birthday party on Saturday. This is just one of Noah's great new birthday presents. He certainly has become a big boy!
Then Auntie Marci, Uncle Jimmy and Max came for ANOTHER party. This time we had an ice cream cake and lots of singing! Ice cream and cake??? How cool....
Happy Birthday to Noah...it's certainly not the Von Trapp family singers, but it will do (sounds a little like a funeral march)!
Part of being a big boy means having a big boy bed! Check this out!! He kind of disappears in the bed, but seems to really love it. He goes right to sleep though still likes mommy and daddy to check on him.

Hot Days of Summer
We know it's been awhile, but we've been catching up after vacation. I've been having such a great summer though. I'm sure everyone knows it's been really hot out. Sometimes it's even too hot for clothes! (what happened to my clothes????)
And speaking of hot, my mommy and daddy picked almost the hottest day of the summer to take me to my first Phillies game!
Our seats were in right field and we were baking in the sun.
So you won't see many pictures of the baseball game, but we had lots of fun. We played in the Philly Phun Zone for a long time. I left my sneakers and socks high up in the rocket ship and had to go back and get them.We sat in our seats about 15 minutes the whole game, but in the time I saw the Phillies hit a grand slam and a second home run, and both balls landed about 10 rows away from me. It was a fun but hot day.
I am now a 5th generation pickle maker! My Mommy and Daddy learned to make pickles from Nanny who learned from her mother who learned from her mother (I think). We only made 2 jars, but they were great!
