ROAD TRIP TO Danbury

Noah and David went on a ROAD TRIP! Kathy was away for the weekend in Las Vegas, so Noah and David packed up the car and hit the road. Noah was up at 5:10 am so we had plenty of time. Our first stop was Friendly's. Noah got his own menu, and ordered his own breakfast. A great big pancake filled with M & Ms. Then it was off to Danbury for a fun weekend. We forgot our camera so we don't have lots of pictures, but we had a phone and Uncle Jimmy's camera. It was a fun weekend. We chugged all around the house...
And then Uncle Jimmy took us to a really fun park. Noah got to drive the train. And he went down the slide. And he even helped David go down the slide. And everywhere there were pretty little girls, Noah was there! And every time we talk about going to the park, Noah still says "Uncle Jimmy said don't go in the Mud Pit!"On Saturday night Nanny and Poppy came to Danbury and we all had Corned Beef and Cabbage for St Patrick's day (well, OK...Noah had Chicken Nuggets!). And then Sunday morning, Auntie Marci and Uncle Jimmy took us to the Mall. We rode on the Merry Go Round. And then we went to the play area. It was the cutest thing we have seen in a long time. There were kids running around and yelling all around (including Noah for a while). But then he saw a little girl that he liked, and walked right over to her and decided he wanted to hold hands. He reached out and held her hand, and the 2 of them were just standing there, in the middle of the craziness, very quietly and happily holding hands. It was absolutely precious. And even when it was time for lunch and time to leave, Noah kept saying, "I want to hold hands with the girl". And David kept saying "that's my boy!".

Guitar Hero

Can anyone make out the words from this budding guitar hero?? (He is a little out of tune since as you can hear, he is congested with a cold!)

We will be publishing the lyrics later this week!

Spring Was Almost Here

For just a day last weekend, we really thought spring was here. What a difference a winter makes when you see what a big little boy Noah is! We all went outside to play and had a ball. Look at this!David would love to think he is a real chip of the block.......And then we had some spring cleaning to do...well David did some cleaning, Noah did some spring messing, and Kathy did some spring photos. But when it was all done, we all pitched in, and everyone helped clean up. Thanks Noah. Then it was time to go inside, and we had some cleaing to do inside too. Noah has become such a good little helper, we just started giving him an allowance. He gets his allowance Thursday nights after he helps bring the trash cans down to the curb (yes...he really helps push them!). So far, he just leaves his allowance lying on the floor, but one day he'll be sorry! And to end this installment of Noah's blog: 1) we apologize to him for posting these pictures; 2) we don't know what to call them; 3) we were going to make some joke about putting his finger in a socket, but that's not funny; 4) let's just say even 2 1/2 year old big boys have bad hair days! Who did this to him???????????

Crazy Driver!

It's been a relatively quiet week on Crum Creek. The weather has been cold and we had a couple of small snow storms. But this day it was dry and clear, and before dinner Noah and Joseph went out for a ride in Joseph's car. Noah is one crazy driver!!

Check out this little video:

Last week we went to Connecticut to (finally) celebrate hanukah at Nanny and Poppy's house, but we didn't bring the camera. It snowed in Avon and Noah and David built and cool little snow man. We'll have to get some pictures from Poppy's camera to show everyone.

But Noah got some really fun gifts, and this is one of his favorites. We put on Makin' Music CDs and Noah accompanies all the songs (really!)And Sunday was a blast. It was "Daddy and Me Day" at Gymboree, and Noah took his daddy to climb and jump and run around like a wild man. We had a ball!

Well, we're pretty up to date at this point. We're all tired of the cold weather and getting antsy for spring. Keep checking and see what Noah is up to these days.
