Down The Shore June 09

I got to go back to the shore this summer, but this year we went for 2 weeks! The first week we spent with Mommy's side of the family. First, my cousins met us in Philadelphia, and we all drove to Ocean City together. Daddy called me a little beach rat! I love the ocean and sand. From the minute we got there I did alot of running and digging and jumping and rolling in the sand.
But all this running around tires out a little guy. Josh had endless energy, bu sometimes you just need to sit and relax, or as my cousin Max taught me, "I'm just chillin'". Of course you get really sandy and sticky from all the sun screen and sand and it's fun to share a nice tubby! We had lots of other fun outside and in. Evan and I were playing games on the iphone together; And breakfast was the most fun. Me, daddy, Evan and Josh went for a "Donut run"! We got to pick out our own donuts!
And after getting all that energy, ....how about a nice leisurely morning ride on the boardwalk!

There are lots more pictures from our first week with Grammy, Grampy and the Harney's coming soon so keep checking!

Father's Day: A day out with Noah and Thomas!

Sunday was Father's Day. And what fun to wake up to a pile of presents. Noah was a great helper opening them. David got a bunch of fun presents. Noah gave him a soccer ball and soccer goal to play with and we've had a ball all week playing soccer and scoring "GOALS"!Thanks Noah!!And then...what could be better on Father's Day then... "A Day Out With Thomas"! Look who came to Strasburg Railroad! It's right near Lancaster so Grammy and Grampy got to come too. And guess what little boy was super excited???There were lots and lots of things to do there. Check out the Cranky Cars! We didn't really think Noah would be able to do it, but when he showed us his muscles (and they are getting big!) we knew he could, we knew he could, we knew he could (you know...the little engine that could?). He got on and started cranking around the track, and he had a ball. We went on it several times! And yes, there was a little choo choo train to ride. We don't have lots of pictures from the little train, but you can see Noah was anxious to get there: C'mon Mommy.....Soon Thomas came chugging back down the track and it was our turn to get on board. We got to get on his coaches and go for ride. Noah loved it.We heard the whistle blow, and saw the cows and cars and fields outside. Noah spent alot of time just gazing out the window. What a great day we all had.

Trip to Danbury

Last weekend we took a drive to Danbury and everyone was there. In fact, every night this week, Noah goes to bed and says "that was fun, going to Auntie Marci's house". It sure was fun. First, there was a strong man contest. Then we went to Stu Leonard's, and guess what we got??

At night we went to see the Bridgeport Bluefish play baseball. It was fun, but it was raining and chilly, so we didn't stay very long. We did stay for dinner though. There were 10 of us, and we had to order 11 hot dogs. One for everyone...except Noah. He needed 2 hot dogs (and ate every last bite!).

We didn't have lots of pictures, but we had lots of fun! I'm glad my cousins are my friends!!

Good Boys and Good Desserts

The last blog had some pictures from the Zoo. This was a really fun day. When we finished riding the train and the pony and the tractor, it was time for lunch. Raise your hand if you're hungry! And on the way out, let's just say good bye to the bear!Hey Daddy!!! Don't DROP ME!!!The next day we went to Linvilla for the Strawberry Festival. But there is lots more to do than to eat strawberries. There were lots of animals to look at. Hey little chicken, what's your name? And there were little piggiesAnd cows...And sheep....And planes to rideBut we can't go anywhere if there isn't a train for Noah to chug!! So we rode the train!
And after such a busy day, it was off to Radnor Valley for dinner. And those little boys who eat a good dinner, and are good boys, get fun desserts!! Guess who likes ice cream? These pictures need no explanation!

Come back soon! More blog updates in a day or two.......

Noah Takes a RIde

Noah takes a ride. On what you ask? On just about anything. We are having such a fun a busy start to summer. Last week we went to the zoo, and look how much fun we had. First Noah and Kathy took a ride on the jungle choo choo train. One boy was always sticking his head out the side of the train. Can you see him??
And this tractor we only pretended to ride on....but it was really fun! We're sure that it was real, Noah would and could drive it!But even more fun at the zoo.....Noah took a pony ride. And he went all by himself!! GIddy up!But there's more to ride on than tractors, trains and horses. Check out this crazy driver in his very own new Jeep!!
And watch him and Joseph race around in this little video.
Stay tuned. We hope to update the blog this week and there's lots more to share with everyone.

Finally Summer

We've been so busy we haven't kept up with Noah's blog very well. Let us know if this starts loading slow and maybe we'll move to a new version.

Well summer is here in full swing. Memorial day was fun. We went to the pool, and though the water was pretty cold, Noah didn't seem to mind and the swimming was lots of fun. Radnor Valley has a fun day with this really cool moon bounce and slide. Noah was the smallest one there but one of the most fearless. And we had SNO CONES! This orange one was good for the dry cleaners as it dripped all over David's pants.......But this is one of David's new favorite pictures. Look who is having so much fun. Most of you know that we are doing some really successful potty training in our house. We pretty much have the pee pee in the potty down, at least during the day. And we've almost got the poopies. Noah is in big boy undies all day long, and pull ups at night. No fuss. He has a "potty chart" and gets a sticker everytime he goes pee pee or poopy (not to be confused with Poppy) in the potty. Check out all the stickers.
We spend lots of time outside. Crum Creek is gorgeous in the spring. But running around all day makes you tired.
But this time of year there is lots of wild life outside our house too (and we don't mean Noah!). Check out Noah's new little friend that Mr Eric brought over. And look at this little movie and see what other friends we found outside our house!

Most of you wouldn't recognize Noah. He is growing up so quickly.......

More updates real soon. Come visit.
