Happy Chanuka 09

Chanuka was so much fun, and very busy this year. We started by going to a Holiday party at Radnor Valley. We went last year if you want to go back and look at the blog to see the difference, but last year Noah was getting sick and we didn't stay very long. This year we had a ball.
There were lots of games to play. These pictures are not very good but at least David loves them. Noah was right in there with all the bigger kids. This was a game where you had to freeze in silly positions. Can you see him (look right to the left of the woman with orange socks). And this was a hoola hoop contest. Noah doesn't really know how to do the hoola hoop yet, but he stood in line with all the kids and waited his turn to try. Mommy and Daddy were really proud of him for waiting in line and trying. It's a dark picture but see him right to the left of the girl with the pink shirt. And then in was Chanuka at our house. Happy first night, Noah. Listen to the blessing for the candles.

And a little present as well!
On the second night he got a really big box. It was heavy but he was so excited and was trying so hard to pull it out so he could open it.Noah was so excited he got The Polar Express that he saw at the really fun train store! He has already spent hours just watching the pistons go back and forth....And look what Mommy got us. One for Noah, and David got the same thing.Next it was on to Connecticut to celebrate. We didn't take lots of pictures, but we got there in time to light all the candles.
And on Friday morning, Poppy took Noah to...where else? The train store for a new engine for Poppy's train! And on Saturday, Noah was so excited that Samantha and Benjimen came to have a Chanuka party! Check out these trouble makers!
We came home to a huge snow storm, and spent Sunday playing in the snow. Check back in a couple days to see some fun in our winter wonderland pcitures!

Thanksgiving 2009

Sorry everyone that my blog is late. But we have been so busy. Thanksgiving came and went so quick, but we did fun things. My mommy and me made Turkey Cookies! Mommy cooked them, and I go to decorate it. My cookie is beautiful! (click on this little movie)

And we had a fun party at school. Some of it was boring and I didn't really pay attention to the whole story.

All the parents were invited and Pilgrim Larry came with a real live turkey!

Right before Thanksgiving, cousins Evan and Josh came to visit me!
Are we handsome DEVILS or what???
We had Thanksgiving at my house this year. Aunt Erin, Uncle Kyle, Grammy, Grampy, Evan and Josh were all there. I can't help but show off my mommy's table.
And of course the cool kids table. And after dinner, Aunt Erin helped us make desert.
We had a great time playing and I was sad when everyone left. But they will be back soon after Christmas and we'll have more fun then.

More Vacation Fun

Several mornings, Noah and David would go out early (6am?) for coffee, orange juice, and usually a treat (like a donut). Usually Noah would go in his PJs. Wave to mommy! We had lots of fun on our early morning walk (notice one of us still has pajamas on!). Noah was fascinated by this secret bat cave! We never walked down to see what was there but we think it's a secret place that cars go.
And on some mornings, David got treated to his own special show.
After our walk and pre-breakfast treat, it was time for breakfast. This was a great restaurant, right out on the sand. One night, we stayed at the pool late, got cocktails (like Orange Juice with ice), and went right to the show without even taking a tubby or changing clothes. Of course after dinner, everyone already knows it's time for more treats.Wherever we went, we had our own button pusher. Here's the pool we would swim in, right outside our window

Even in the pool there were things that could CHUG like a train. Here we are at dinner one night. There was a waiter named Roger who really liked Noah. Every day when he saw him, he tried to eat Noah's food!!The night before we were to leave, there was an outdoor beach barbeque. All the Seseme street friends were there doing a show. Before the show was over, and before we even got dinner, the sky opened up and it started to pour. We were as far away from our room as you could be and didn't have an umbrella or anything. Look at these two....The next morning, we had to get ready to go home. It was time to get dressed in normal clothes and have one last super strong drink at the bar and one more chocholate chip cookie before going to the airport. Then to the airport, and before we knew it, vacation was over and it was back to Philadelphia. But we had lots of fun things waiting for us when we got home. Thanksgiving was right around the corner and there was lots to do. So check back soon. Love Noah

Vacation number 3

We had breakfast at Mario's almost every morning. They had a big Seseme Street Castle area that was just my size. Every morning I met new kids who had breakfast with me. This morning I had breakfast with Gia.

But one morning we went and had breakfast on the big Kitty Kat Catamaran. Mommy was there. And Daddy was there. And look who else came on the boat!We played a game with Elmo and all the kids passing around a little doll to the music. If you were holding it when the music stopped you were out, but won a prize. I came in second place (the little girl next to me wouldn't take the doll when it was her turn!)And then I just played cars with the guys for a little while. There was a dance party on the deck with Elmo and Zoey, and I think my mommy was the only one dancing with them!
There's my hotel as we were coming back in.Next it's time to go to he beach. The water is really warm and clear and fun. I loved just sitting in the sand and letting the small waves splash me.I liked playing in the sand too!

After a long busy day, it was fun to go out to dinner with Mommy and Daddy. After dinner we usually stopped at a different place for desert. I was waiting very patiently for my huge dish of chocolate ice cream! But after so much fun all day long, (and on this day I didn't have a chance for a nap!), I just ran out of gas. Mommy and Daddy knew how that felt too.Good night everyone! More pictures soon!

Love, Noah
