Let it snow, 2009

Mommy is still in Las Vegas where it's nice and sunny and warm! It's cold where I am. It finally snowed here last week! It was really lucky that mommy had the day off so we could play in the snow together!

Notice anything missing in this picture? I don't really like to keep my gloves on even though the snow is so cold!
The most fun was trying to catch snow flakes! I caught a few in my hand, but the most fun was cathing them in my mouth.

And see Daddy's new tree man? He likes the snow too.

It's not very deep, but it's fun! Check out this short movie.

And after playing in the snow, what little hero doesn't like a hearty meatball dinner?

Playing in the snow tired everyone out. And we were all starting to get sicklast weekend. So we spent a nice quiet evening by the fire, watching Polar Express (again!) (or napping as they case may be). It's now Wednesday morning 1/28, and it snowed all night long. I can't wait to go outside and play. Hopefully I'll have some more pictures to show mommy on her trip! See you all soon.

Fun adventures to start the year!

Mommy is on her way to Las Vegas today, so I thought I'd post a blog for her to see when she gets there. She'll be gone all week, but me and Daddy have lots of fun plans, so other than eating lots of take out food, we'll be fine!

I forgot where we left off last time. Did I remember to say "Happy New Year!" to everyone??My 2009 is off to a great start! I hope everyone else is having as much fun. Football season is winding down. The Eagles beat the Giants in the playoffs, and I still haven't figured out if I'm a Giants fan or an Eagles fan. But when you live around here you can go out on Sunday mornings and the bagel store has Eagles Football Bagels!! How Cool! It's was hard to find time over the holidays, but we finally got to go to Connecticut to see Nanny and Poppy. We had lots of fun. Poppy and me played with this really neat new truck And it snowed at their house! I got a really cool new red sled and this was the first time I got to play in the snow this year.On another day my mommy and daddy took me to the "Train Expo". I think I liked it. It was a little overwhelming, and all I really wanted to do was play with the Thomas trains, but it was still really exciting. Someday I'll get a train that moves all on its own.

Then last week we went to the "Please Touch Museum". I went last year, but I was real little back then. Now that I'm a big boy, and very independent, there was more for me to do. And the museum has moved into this really big new building, so there is so much more to see and play with. I'm now a "member" so can go any time I want! Mommy and I delivered the mail...
Until I got bored. We went to a tea party with the Mad Hatter. And rode on the front of the "Polar Express!"We went fishing and boating (do you think it was easy getting me to wear this smock to keep me dry? You have no idea how long it took to get ready to play in the water!).And me and mommy went on the Merry Go Round (though I didn't really want to ride these horsies--so we rode on the bench)But some horsies are really fun!!!Miss you mommy! And I miss everyone else too! See you all soon!

Party time 2008 and 2009

This season was party time at our house. We had a really fun holiday party for mommy's side of the family. Guess who provided most of the entertainment?
It was nice that great granddaddy and grandma were able to come too! Here they are with all the boys. And doesn't cousin Jenny know you never try and kiss a little guy trying to eat his oreo?Uncle Dennis and Noah had some time to catch up and discuss the state of the economy. That week there was even more fun. Noah and mommy, the Harneys and Grammy and Grampy went to Dutch Wonderland. They open during the holdays at night and it was fun, but boy was it cold!Kathy and Noah rode the big purple truck. And Noah and Josh went on the carsCheck out this little movie. They were having a ball but you get a sense it was really cold!

Noah was sad to see his cousins leave after having so much fun, but that wasn't the end of the partiesThe next night was...."HAPPY NEW YEAR"!!Well, 2008 was a tremendous year. Noah has grown from a little baby to such a good and happy (and stubborn!) little boy. We can hardly imagine what amazing changes and fun 2009 will bring. Happy Holidays to everyone!

Christmas 08

Christmas came and went so quickly this year. I've been so busy I haven't had time keeping up with everything. But I was really excited that Santa was coming to my house. I made him his very own plate and left Oreas for Santa and Rudolph and all the reindeer.... And they ate almost all the cookies, but they did leave me some crumbs. And when I came downstairs Christmas morning, you should have seen all the wonderful stuff Santa left for me! There was this really cool kitchen and grill, and I got to make breakfast for me and mommy and daddy! I make the best hot chocolate and coffee! And check this out! My very own space shuttle to blast off into space with! And there were stockings hanging by the fire place, and they were all filled up with more fun things! But first I had to find them....Check out this little video and we go searching for the "other chimeny" and singing "Here Comes Santa Claus"! (If you notice, Noah has something in his mouth...that was Santa's left over Oreos from the plate in the picture above!)

Then there was lots of company! The day after Christmas Evan and Josh and Aunt Erin and Uncle Kyle came to visit. We did all sorts of fun things. We went to lunch. And Evan and I played Foosball. And look at this. First, all 4 of us boys are sitting quietly together and coloring. But notice Uncle Kyle has MY PURPLE SIPPY CUP AND DRINKING MY MILK! But that's ok, because if you look closely, he let me have his beer. But Aunt Erin was the best "colorer"!
And then, believe it or not, we had Christmas again. Grammy and Grampy came over too, and there were more fun presents to give everyone, and more fun presents to open!
Boy, what a great and busy and fun day. At the end of the day, me and Josh had to just chill out and watch a movie (look carefully....Noah and Josh are both sitting quietly and at the same time!!)
And there was even more fun. We had a big party with all of mommy's side of the family. Stay tuned for more fun pictures on the next blog.

The Aquarium

I don't think I told you that I got to go see the fish and sharks and all kinds of fun things at the aquarium with my mom and dad last week! It was awesome! There were cool fishies everywhere. These look like Cordelia and Pi (don't ask)
And I got to poke the bellies of the jellyfish! I would poke their bellies and my daddy would would make funny noises like "squish" and "ewwww". And that really made me laugh! And I watched the penquins eat fish and squid, but they didn't dance like Mumbles, and it was really cold outside, so I got bored and headed back inside. And my favorite thing inside was the sharks. Look at all these scary sharks!

But this BAT-SHARK was the scariest shark of all!
