Some fun things

We've been doing some fun things the past few weeks. For one, Noah learned to eat an ice cream cone. These are vanilla ice cream with M&Ms in a cone. Mommy and Noah are toasting cones! And he has finally grown in to his tricycle. His feet finally reach the pedals, and he got a real helmet...with Thomas on it!

But these long and fun days really tire you out.

Kathy went to Texas a few weeks ago and we went to the airport to pick her up. We were waiting for the plane to land and having a little snack.
That weekend David and Noah went to the Broomall Carnival. Look how much fun we had, and check out the movie at the end. Noah is a real big little boy!

Riding the Bus: Check out the movie.

Strasburg Train Museum

Did we tell you we went to the Strasburg Train Museum last month? For a little boy fascinated with trains (and his parents), this was pretty cool!We forgot our camera so these few pictures were taken with Kathy's phone. This is daddy's favorite train: the little (or in this case "big") red caboose!Ding Ding Ding Ding....And every train needs a cool "fire man" to shovel the coal into furnace.
What a fun day!

Going to Kentucky....

Last Thursday we were all off to Kentucky with Noah singing "I'm going to Kentucky, I'm going to the fair, to see the seniorita, with the ribbon in her hair"!

We got through airport security fine, but it's hard carrying all those bags. It's a good thing David had help!

Noah was so excited to see his cousins. Josh was nice enough to let Noah sleep in his big boy bed and Josh slept with Evan. We were all a little surprised that Noah slept great both at night and at nap time.

It was warm and sunny in Kentucky, and the very first morning we got up and Noah and his cousins went to play in the park

Look at all these handsome boys!
Then we needed some quiet time, and Josh taught Noah how to play his Leapster. He was a fast learner.

We had lots of time to play outside and go wild. Hey boys........easy!

And everyone say CHEESE!And this part is 100% true. Noah always gets to look at his blog, but this time we asked him what he wanted to write. He saw this picture and said "That's me. I'm MESSY because I was eating a hot dog".And then he looked at this picture and he said "But where is Uncle Kyle's hair?"Evan and Josh had a baseball game Saturday night and we all got to go and watch. The White Sox won! And after the game, even Noah got into the act. With one last race around the bases, and into home plate.....they were.........SAFE! (who is the dirtiest little boy here?)And then a little down time in the dugout.

And while the bigger boys were practicing, Noah insisted on practicing too. He needed a little help, and after the first try, looked at David and said "Daddy...you missed!" Check out our little video of baseball practice. Notice uncle Kyle coming to check out our form...

Well, all good times must come to an end. Early Sunday morning we were back on the road driving to the Northen Kentucky/Cincinnati airport, dropped off our "wrinkle" car (all week Noah kept saying he wanted to get in his "wrinkle" car and we couldn't figure out what he meant. Finally when we dropped off the car and he said good-bye, we figured out he was trying to say "rental" car. Then it was on the Hertz bus....(Noah loved riding on the bus) Our plane was delayed, but that was OK since we had some time for breakfast. Hmmm...what should we have?Milk, coffee and a bagel. What could be better?
And before we knew it, there was our plane. Noah loves planes and airports, and couldn't wait to "walk down the jetway ALL BY MYSELF"!
We had a great few days, and hopefully we'll get back to Kentucky soon.
